Another Cheap Hike in Bukidnon | Two Trees Peak
Cheap hike you want?Well,Two Trees Peak is here for you to experience a short and cheap hike.Two Trees is located in Malaybalay City,Bukidnon.
How to get there?
If you are from Cagayan de Oro City/Davao City,take a bus and get off in Malaybalay City Bus Terminal.From the Bus terminal go to Gawad Kalinga Village near Capitol grounds.From Gawad Kalinga,go straight and you just started your way to Two Trees Peak.
Note: You can also use waze to ask for the direction.I also use waze when I went to Two Trees and it actually gave me the right direction.Thanks Waze.
Two Trees is actually a two big branch of a pinetree in one tree.I asked also my niece and even some of the locals on why the place is called Two Trees and he answer is the same,it's because of the two big branch in one tree.
The hike only took us 1 hour and 30 minutes.In the peak,you can actually see the mountains and on the other side,you will see the city of Malaybalay.As if the peak is the border of two types of community in the city.You can also see a sea of clouds there if you can reach the peak as early as 6:00am.Many students and locals hike there so don't be afraid to hike alone because there lots of people around.
Note: This hike costs me less than Php.200.00 because you don't need to pay for any registration or any fee when going up.I only spend for my water and food.
